How are multi-gym passes priced?
Three models cover most of what you will find. They can look similar on the homepage and work very differently once you start booking.
- Credits: you buy a monthly bundle and every class or visit costs a number of credits, which changes with the place, the day and the time. Flexible, but hard to predict: a popular evening class can cost far more than a quiet morning one.
- Tiered plans: each plan opens a group of places and a number of visits at each one. Higher plans open more places and more visits. Easier to read, as long as the tiers are clear.
- Pay as you go: day passes or single classes bought one at a time, with no monthly commitment. Good for the occasional visit, expensive if you go often.
Why does the limit per place matter so much?
Because it decides whether the pass works for the way you train. Most passes cap how many times a month you can visit the same place, so that the venues in the network are not filled by the same few people.
If you train at one gym three or four times a week, a cap of a few visits a month at each place will not cover you, however many other places are included. Before you join, check the cap at the places you would use most, not the size of the network.
Also check what happens to visits or credits you don't use. Some roll over in part, many simply expire at the end of the month.
How do booking and check-in work?
For classes, you book in the app: pick the place, the time and the class, and the spot is yours. Each place sets its own cancellation deadline, and a late cancellation or a no-show may count as a visit, so read the rule before you book.
For open gym time, some places ask you to book a slot and some let you walk in. Check-in is usually a QR code on your phone shown or scanned at the door, so there is no card to carry.
Can I pause or cancel a multi-gym pass?
Most passes renew every month, which is the main difference from a gym membership with a minimum term. Look at three things before joining: whether you can pause (some call it a freeze) and for how long, how much notice you need to cancel, and whether you can do both in the app or have to call or email.
Also check whether you can change plan from one month to the next. Moving down for a busy month and up again later is the cheapest pause there is.
Who does a multi-gym pass suit?
It suits people who like variety: weights one day, a pool or a yoga class the next. It suits people who work in one area and live in another, hybrid workers who train near home on some days and near the office on others, and anyone who travels for work.
It also suits people trying to find what they enjoy, before committing to one sport or one place, and people whose employer pays for all or part of it.
It suits less well people who train at one place almost every day, or who need a specialist coach at one gym: a single membership there will usually cost less and give more.
Multi-gym pass or one gym membership: how do I decide?
Look back at the last month. Count your visits and where they were. If most of them were at one place, a membership there is likely the better deal. If they were spread across different places or activities, or you would like them to be, a pass gives you more for the same money.
Then think about what happens between visits. Training in many places can mean your plan, your progress and your coach get left behind at each door. Check whether the pass keeps your workout plan and your history in one place, wherever you train. If you train alone, an online personal trainer can follow you across all of them.
How does Yeki Pass work?
Yeki Pass, our multi-gym membership, has three plans, S, M and L. Each one decides which places open up and how many times a month you can go to each. S is for getting started, with gyms and classes. M adds yoga and Pilates studios, pools and martial arts, with more visits at each place. L opens the whole network, including wellness, climbing and the most popular places, with the most visits.
You search by sport, area and time, see the open spots and book a class with one tap. At the door you show the QR code on your phone, with no card and no form, and each place shows you in the app how many visits you have left this month. Every visit goes into your history, wherever you trained.
Every plan includes Plus, so your coach's plan, your personal bests, your body measurements and your full history come with you, and Spotter introduces you to people nearby who train the way you do. The Pass renews every month, you can pause or cancel it in the app and change plan whenever you like. If you already have a gym membership, it stays as it is, and your employer can cover all or part of your plan.
